# Install on Shopify

> Install PricePirate in Shopify and understand what each permission is used for.

Install PricePirate in your Shopify shop and then open the setup guide.

## What you do

* Install the app in Shopify admin.
* Review the requested permissions.
* Open PricePirate from Shopify.
* Start the first setup.

PricePirate uses Shopify permissions to read products, update variant prices, and store settings for your shop.
