# Reports

> Analyze competitors, positions, market activity, and automation across all tracked products.

Reports summarize the marketplace data of all tracked products on a marketplace into one overview. They are built from the **measurements** PricePirate regularly takes of your connected [listings](/docs/en/guide/concepts/listings-and-offers). Each [sync](/docs/en/guide/automation/syncs) produces a new measurement of a listing, including every offer visible on it.

Reports look at your entire marketplace. To analyze a single product in detail, use the [product metrics](/docs/en/guide/insights/metrics) instead.

## The four reports

Reports are organized into four tabs. Start with **Competitors** and **Positions** to understand your market standing. Use **Activity** to watch market dynamics, and **Automation** to audit the price changes PricePirate makes.

## Filter and time window

Four controls apply to every report. They sit in the header of each tab and affect all widgets at once.

**Time window** switches between **7 days**, **14 days**, and **30 days**. The default is **7 days**. Every widget only considers measurements from this window.

**Marketplace** only appears when more than one marketplace is configured. The default is the marketplace you set for price changes in settings. Learn more under **Markets** in [Settings](/docs/en/guide/account/settings).

**Product filter** restricts every widget to selected products or a collection. Active filters appear as chips above the widgets. The product filter is available on all four tabs.

**Total price** switches several widgets between the product price excluding shipping and the [total price including shipping](/docs/en/guide/concepts/total-price).

The home icon at the top left returns to the dashboard. Opening `/app/reports` shows the **Competitors** tab first.
