PricePirate can monitor competitor prices across several price-comparison marketplaces at once and adjust your prices on each of them. Every marketplace is set up and evaluated separately: what you see and do on Idealo is independent of Google Shopping, Klarna, or any other marketplace.
Multiple marketplaces are not included in every plan. If you don’t see a Markets overview in Settings but only a single Own shop name field, your shop runs in single-marketplace mode. Contact support to enable multiple marketplaces for your plan.

What is separate per marketplace

When you enable multiple marketplaces, each one has its own:
  • Listings – you connect a separate listing per marketplace.
  • Shop names – the name your shop appears under on that marketplace, so PricePirate recognizes your own offer.
  • Metrics – the product metrics show prices, ranks, and volatility per marketplace.
  • Reports – the reports summarize each marketplace on its own.
  • Prices – pricing strategies and price changes run against a defined market for price changes.

Available marketplaces

PricePirate supports the following marketplaces and countries: * Only available with support-assisted setup. Contact support to enable the marketplace for your shop; all other countries you set up yourself.
Not every marketplace supports every search method. On Idealo you can find listings by EAN/GTIN, URL, or search term; on many other marketplaces only by EAN/GTIN. Learn more under Connect listings.

Setting up marketplaces

You configure marketplaces in Settings under Markets. There a table replaces the single Own shop name field and lists every active marketplace with: Use Edit to open a dialog where you adjust own shop names and the auto-connect toggle per marketplace, or add and remove marketplaces. Add marketplace: In the dialog you first select the Country and then the Marketplace. Marketplaces that require support-assisted setup can’t be activated yourself — the dialog points you to support. Market for price changes: Below the table you set which marketplace is used for pricing strategies and pending price changes. This is the shop-wide default; individual products can deviate from it. For how that works, see Market for price changes.
A marketplace with existing listing data cannot be removed. The current market for price changes cannot be deleted either — select a different one first.

Metrics and reports per marketplace

When several marketplaces are active, a Marketplace selector appears in the product metrics and in the reports. Use it to switch between marketplaces and see the figures separately. It defaults to the marketplace you set as the market for price changes. In shops with a single marketplace, the selector is not shown.
