With the Automatically accept pending price changes setting, the price changes generated by your pricing strategies are applied to your Shopify products automatically after each calculation run, without manual approval. You find the toggle itself in Settings; this page explains when and why to enable it. Auto-apply covers all pending changes in your shop — including older ones that are still pending, not only the ones just created.

What still holds

  • Only valid recommendations become pending in the first place. Price limits such as the minimum and maximum price are part of the strategy calculation (see Price settings); invalid results land as Invalid and are never applied.
  • If the write to Shopify fails, the change is recorded as Error and stays visible in the review list.
  • Applied changes remain listed with the status Applied, so the page stays your audit trail.
  • You can disable the setting again at any time.

When to enable auto-apply

Enable auto-apply only after your listings, your strategy, and your price limits are verified. Test your strategy manually first, as described under Test a strategy; the recommended order up to this step is also in the quickstart. To see what auto-apply has done, open the automation report.
