This warning appears when one or more listings failed during the daily synchronization. As a result, those listings are missing current price data.

Cause

A synchronization fails when PricePirate can no longer measure the listing on the marketplace. Common reasons are:
  • The marketplace listing was removed, hidden, or moved.
  • The marketplace changed the product page, so the connection no longer resolves.
  • A temporary fetch error on the marketplace.

On Idealo

On Idealo, these additional cases occur:
  • Idealo removed the product page because too few merchants offer the product.
  • The product has no dedicated product page on Idealo — some listings simply do not exist on every marketplace.
PricePirate can only reliably match offers from a product page. The Idealo offer overview — the grid, or the search results — is not a product page. Always connect the product page, not the overview or search results page.

Solution

1

Open the affected listings

In the notification, click Fix problem. You see the listings whose last synchronization failed.
2

Review the listing

Open the marketplace listing and check whether the offer page still exists and shows the correct product.
3

Reconnect or remove

Reconnect the product to the correct listing through Connect listings. On Idealo, matching by EAN/GTIN is generally reliable; if it does not find the right match, paste the Idealo product page URL directly into the search field. If the offer no longer exists, disconnect it or deactivate the product.
4

Connect on another marketplace

If the listing does not exist on this marketplace, you can connect the product on another marketplace. This requires a plan that includes multiple markets; you then set up the markets in the Settings under Markets.
5

Check the connection

A correctly connected listing shows a checkmark and produces snapshots again on the next synchronization. You can see whether new snapshots are being created in the product’s metrics.
