This warning appears when some products change their price more often than they are synchronized. The price data for these products may be stale, and your strategies work with outdated competitor prices.

Cause

The synchronization frequency is too low for the product’s price volatility. Between two measurements the market moves several times, so PricePirate does not capture those moves.

Solution

1

Open the affected products

In the notification, click Fix problem to see the products with high volatility.
2

Increase synchronizations

Increase the Daily synchronizations for these products in the synchronization settings. More measurements per day keep the price data current.
3

Weigh the credit cost

Each additional synchronization uses credits. Raise the frequency selectively for highly volatile products and keep it low for stable ones.

Prevention

Match the synchronization frequency to each product’s price volatility instead of using the same value for all products.
